Rory McGoldrick
Co-Founder & Director
Rory founded Inspira Pharmaceuticals in 2020 to see if a virtual biotech start-up really could find a cure for deadly respiratory diseases. Rory has nearly two decades of experience in corporate finance and company start-ups. Passionate about innovation, Rory has managed to recruit an excellent team and win the attention of high-quality investors. Rory has an LLB in Law from the University of Western Australia.
Dr Giuseppe Trigiante
Chief Scientific Advisor
A veteran biochemist who is always looking for the next big challenge, Giuseppe has lead Inspira's research and innovation since inception. With his experience, passion and inventive flair, Giuseppe has led our scientific research since incorporation. Giuseppe has over 20 years of biomedical scientific experience and holds a PhD from Stanford University.
Rossella Scotto
Laboratory Technician
Rossella is biomedical scientist with a Master’s Degree in Molecular Diagnostics and passion for disruptive research. She is a dedicated and invaluable team responsible for core research within our lab. She has with broad experience working in clinical and histology laboratories.
Alex Wan
Laboratory scientist
Alex joined the Inspira research team in 2023 and is responsible for managing a range of experiments and laboratory work. He has a Masters Degree in Drug Discovery from Nottingham University. He studied medicinal and organic chemistry and gained experience working on small molecule chemical synthesis, drug design and testing.
Dr Neil Rzechorzek
Scientific Advisor
Neil is a skilled protein scientist with a background in biochemistry, biophysics and structural biology. With 20 years of hands-on expertise, Neil advises on the key experiments that drive our technology forward. He has extensive experience in biotech consultancy and entrepreneurship, and holds a PhD from the Institute of Cancer Research (University of London, UK).
Dr Jess Jackson
Non-Executive Director
Dr Jackson is a biomedical scientist with drug development experience from preclinical research to post-marketing studies. She has significant experience working with Inspira’s core technology through a previous role with Inspira’s licensor. Jess provides a critical technical voice to assist Inspira to execute its ambitious R&D plan.
